The game has also received a ton of revenue from merch, including everything from t-shirts to foam swords and stuffed creepers. The game just had its best year yet in 2018, and with updates to every major console and PC constantly rolling out to make things more enjoyable, it is a true powerhouse. Jokingly considered a children’s game for the easy, slow speed of its gameplay, Minecraft is a ton of fun.
